Yes. As a former chef, food safety is my top priority. All glazes used at Likalu Pottery are lead-free, non-toxic, and specifically formulated to be safe for daily food and drink.

Most of our pieces are microwave and dishwasher-safe. However, to keep your handmade ceramics looking their best for a lifetime, we recommend gentle handwashing. Avoid placing chilled pottery into a hot oven to prevent "thermal shock," which can cause cracks.

That is the beauty of handmade! Each piece is unique. Because I small-batch fire every item, slight variations in glaze color, texture, and size are natural and a testament to the artisan process.

We take extreme care in our "Double-Box" shipping method. Every piece is wrapped in eco-friendly honeycomb paper or bubble wrap and nestled in a reinforced box to ensure it survives the journey from our Grants Pass studio to your front door.

Don’t worry—we’ve got you covered. If your piece arrives damaged, please take a photo of the item and the packaging and email it to us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange for a replacement or a full refund immediately.

Ready-to-ship items typically leave the studio within 3–5 business days. For custom commissions, please allow 4–6 weeks for the throwing, drying, and double-firing process.
